Pamphlet Instructs Heroin Users on Proper Techniques on Shooting Up
A pamphlet provides advice to heroin users on the proper ways to shoot up is causing some controversy. One bit of the pamphlet’s advice is to “find the vein before you try to inject.” Interesting pamphlet, but there is no safe way to use heroin. Remember possession of heroin in the State of Utah is a third degree felony. Distribution of heroin is a second degree felony. However, these offenses are often enhanced one degree because the offenses occurred within a 1000 feet of a park, church or school. If you have been charged with or arrested for heroin possession it is critical that you immediately contact a Utah Criminal Defense Lawyer to help guide you through the system.

Utah DUI Walk and Turn Test Demonstrated and Errors Identified
This Video demonstrates the errors committed by an allegedly sober driver performing the walk and turn, which is a DUI test given to people suspected of drunk driving in Utah. Remember, the field sobriety tests are difficult to complete even when sober and many would argue are designed for people to fail.
The woman in this video fails because:
1. No heel-to-toe contact
2. She starts too soon
3. She turns improperly
4. She completes the wrong number of steps
Poor performance on the field sobriety tests like the walk and turn allow Utah police officers to request that a suspect provide a breath, blood or urine sample to determine if they are impaired.
How do you think the woman in the video did? Is she sober? Would you arrest her for DUI?
